Through exploration and practical research, we chose to create a stop motion film to communicate The Real Junk Food ethos. Creating a stop motion seemed most relevant as we were able to manipulate ideas, food and imagery which cannot be done by film. Currently, video footage on Real Junk Foods social media platforms are about their own storey, whereas we hope to communicate a greater awareness of food wastage. Therefore our video will be something new and refreshing to followers.
Jagody, a Polish design studio, specialise in food presentation and styling. In the past, they have worked for Lidl and VW. Their use of colour within a contemporary layout are eye catching and bright, communicating an uplifting and positive visual to the viewers. We took inspiration from this in having well thought out compositions with our food and props.
