OUGD603 / Moving Image / Food Waste Video / Development

As a group, we began editing the stop motion on a PC which presented us with many problems such as the lowering the quality of the images. We were recommended to convert this to a Mac which made the editing much faster and easier to use. We placed the facts, which we felt communicated the best message, on to a dancing sequence of the vegetables. The sequence was replayed to enforce a consistent identity with the facts. This turned a serious subject into an achievable everyday goal.

Feedback suggested that some of the tricks within in the video were new and encouraging to viewers. From our research, we have drawn upon facts shared are appropriate to our target audience, while the visuals are playful and fun. We decided to position the camera in a birds eye view to best show the transitions in the video such as bananas to banana bread. Most props were created for being on a table which is seen from above
